Dear Beyond Scuba Community,

With the increasing prevalence of deepfake and AI-generated videos, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue Beyond Scuba as a commercial entity.

As a token of appreciation for our subscribers and loyal followers, we are offering our Marine Wildlife Videography online course for free. We hope this resource will continue to inspire and support passionate underwater videographers.

Additionally, we have chosen to end our collaboration with the American brand of underwater video lights. Given the current landscape, we feel we can no longer endorse American products.

Another major decision is to cease all forms of advertising on social media. These platforms are now saturated with fake underwater footage and misleading information about our oceans and marine life. Moreover, maintaining a presence there requires significant effort, yet the financial returns do not justify continuing.

Taking all these factors into account, we have come to the conclusion that Beyond Scuba, in its commercial form, has become obsolete. As a result, we will be shifting to a non-profit platform, dedicated to sharing the knowledge we’ve accumulated over the years. We hope our insights will continue to guide future underwater videographers and diving enthusiasts in pursuing their passion.
